Fantastic flavor and great value. One of the best!
The Fajitas and enchiladas were great! The tortillas, chips, salsa, and green chili sauce were awesome. Ordered take out through Postmates.
This place is so tucked away I would have almost missed it driving by. Extremely wonderful staff and the chef is passionate about his craft.I had a taco plate with pork Carnitas, El pastor, and steak. They were served with chopped onion and cilantro nestled on a hand pressed corn tortilla. 3 side sauces, limes and jalapenos were a brought out and were fantastic. I would love to come back with a large group and order a family style meal so I can taste more of the food. I will be back again and soon. Thank you for the fantastic food.
Fast and friendly service to start. Free chips and salsa! The food is exceptional. I have been looking for great Mexican for some time now and I am one happy customer and have found my new go to for authentic and delicious Mexican! Thank you!
I'm planning to come back again that's how great it was. Customer service: Friendly. Food was delicious. American/Mexican restaurant.
This is my favorite Mexican food in Denver. The tortas, chips and guacamole, margarita, flan and huaraches are amazing!
I love eating at Los Carboncitos so I make sure to invite the whole family to join me when I go. They have a great menu so everyone is happy with the choices. I love their drink specials and $1 tacos on Tuesdays deal!!! Staff makes you feel right at home and the food tastes fresh. 5 more stars for them!
Authentic Mexican food, phenomenal salsa and hot sauce. Great hospitality as well. Snag a taco or two, the locals say they're some of the best and they certainly didn't disappoint me
Authentic Mexican food. Not to badly priced either. Pretty big portions. I’d say try sharing first
Crazy delicious. Most likely the best chorizo I've ever had. Get their corn tortillas - freshly made in the store. They bring out 4 salsas in addition to the one that comes with the chips. All amazing, 2 are pretty hot. Will definitely be back.
Haven’t found a place this authentic since times I’ve spent in Mexico. Our beloved Nopales featured everywhere. Fresh not pickled. Myriad of sauces lavished upon us with all the impeccable dishes we ordered, I’ve not seen such well crafted Mayan/Mexican since the playa...
Best tacos i have found, goood tortillas, and meat was not greasy or grissly.
Moved here from Texas like 6 months ago & this is by far the best Mexican food I've had in Colorado. Salsa is A+, enchiladas were incredible with just the right amount of spicyness. Service was quick and friendly. I probably won't bother trying another Mexican joint anytime soon now that I found this place.
Great tacos, salsa and pico!
I'm out $15 because they closed early. I still have to pay door dash n reorder something else. Very disappointed
Excellente Taco Tuesdays gracias for the great service. Would recommend
They made me carne asada fries, even though it's not on menu. Awesome staff
Be ready to pay $2.50 ($2 last month) per tacos in which the meat was overcooked (almost burned) and really greasy. Be ready to pay $14.99 ($10.99 last month) for a “al pastor Alambre” which again the meat was close to burned and had more cheese and veggies than meat, I’ll say the limes were very juicy. Be ready to pay $4.99 for a Horchata water. If you’re a big family trying to help the neighborhood restaurants, in this case Los Carboncitos, be ready to spend almost $100 in one evening (usually $40-50). I don’t think it’s fare that they take advantage of the situation and raise their prices even more.
Taco Tuesdays is a thing here and you can get tacos for $1 each. This is definitely a hole in the wall type of place. The salsas are so good. Very spicy and addicting. The downside of this restaurant and why I docked a couple stars is that when I went there recently, the staff took ten minutes just to come to our table and take our order. The restaurant wasn't even that packed. Just because we're there for dollar tacos, doesn't mean we don't deserve good service? This has happened twice now. Our first time there they were so nice to us...
Now THIS right here!!! 😋🤤 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE tacos al pastor and carboncitos al pastor!!! Had the taco and one carboncito and was in heaven!!! My crown 👑 for more of this stuff!
I had the chicken and steak fajitas and it was tasty. The fajitas were flavorful and I really enjoyed the corn tortillas. The tortillas is what gave me a hankering to try this place given the previous reviews. The chips and salsa flights, I wasn’t charged for chips and salsa, and those were good. Definitely better than most places I’ve been to. Staff was friendly and to cap it off I thought the house marg during happy hour was on point, not to juicy and could taste the tequila.
Great place as well as friendly staff. They bring out chips as well as a variety of salsa for you to try. Totally an authentic vibe when you enter choose your seats from the bar in the back or lighted area up front. Has a great menu selection so bring the whole family even the picky ones. If your in a rush call it in and get it to go.
Taco Tuesday-$1 Tacos. The meat was delicious and 5 different deliciously spicy salsas. Staff was extremely attentive and polite. Looking forward to my next Taco Tuesday
Good was amazing tasted 👌😋
Best tacos in town! The staff is super friendly, TRY THE CHORIQUESO, and holy mother of Pearl have I mentioned how amazing the tacos are? This place is so underrated. Do yourself a favor and go!!
The tacos are absolutely divine! Best tacos in Denver, in my opinion. Everything on the menu is equally delicious! When you visit try the choriqueso! I can promise you won't regret it.
Some of the best tacos and food around
Loved the green enchilada plate...its hot!
Amazing and authentic Mexican food! Everything we ate was effing delicious. The condiments were spicy and flavorful. Portions are generous. Great value for your money. I recommend the huaraches... never had one before, but OMG are they incredible! Staff is friendly and attentive. Bar has a fantastic tequila selection (best I've seen in a while). My only complaint is that the horchata is too sweet and not spiced well. Everything else was amazing. Will definitely be back frequently.
I have a tocas 1 tongue 1carnitas 1 birria a gordita with chicken
Incredible food and great service.
Some of the best Mexican in the city as far as I'm concerned. A must try when visiting the Denver area
Meat is extremely good. I've requested guacamole a couple times through carry out and didn't get it either time, but other than that, highly recommend.
I stopped at this placed based on nothing our than curiosity. Lucky for me that I did, the food was amazing and the staff was awesome. I got some staples within Mexican culture; carne asada burrito and ceviche. Both were amazing. Highly recommend this place.
So tasty! Al pastor with pineapple. Perfectly crispy carnitas. Love it.
The taste and excellent service combined together. The salsas are the best. Pretty close of what you can eat in Mexico
Some of the best Mexican food I've tried so far in Denver! Amazing tacos and alambre! Their salsas are hot and delicious! Really friendly staff.
Holy moly, try there Diablo shrimp with a beer and some salsa. Literally the best meal I've had in weeks. I post the picture of the dish because although I was dying I loved the heat and flavor, it's insanely hot, but is so tasty you just can't stop eating the sauce and everything is covered in!
The food is unreal. Best Mexican food in Denver hands down. Thursdays $5 margaritas and $2 draft beers. Prickly pear cactus is amazing and the bacon, shrimp, steak corn tortilla thing (forgot the name) is insanely good! Do yourself a favor and eat here, you will love it.
Perfection. The best I've had in Danver period. Salsas are diverse and incredible. all order was good, but the Al pastor torta is pure heaven. I'll be back a lot.
Decided to stop by here after a few minutes of browsing through Mexican food restaurants. When we first pulled into the parking lot we were a little deceived by the appearance of the areas. Once we walked in it was a whole different story. The place was nice and clean, the staff was super friendly, and I love that they not only brought us chips and salsa, they also gave us lines with four different homemade Mexican chile. The agua frescas were on point, especially the tamarindo flavor (Best I've had to date). My girlfriend ordered a torta and I ordered tacos. For desert we can the churro with ice cream and that was delicious too. If you are in the area, this is the place to check out. Oh yeah, they have a bar too so check it out!
Great food at a great price!
Great food first time here, loved it all!
Awesome and Authentic. Taco Tuesday is awesome there. It gets busy but worth the wait. The servers are running the place like they've been doing it for years.
It's a nice place to enjoy some excellent Mexican food. You can enjoy it solo or with the whole family. Its equipped with a bar if want to enjoy with friends, they also have typical drinks from Mexico as well as coke products. I normally go for their tacos al pastor which are my favorite, but they have an excellent variety of Mexican dishes that you will enjoy. Once your in you can sit wherever you want to and the waitresses will take care of you. I'm a regular there and never had any issues with the service, so you can rest assured that you will be well taken care of.
Good food at a decent price. House margarita is great!
Food delicious and good service. This place saved me from a terrible night of fast food eating. Fantastic home recipes and chill vibes
Usually their food is ok but today it was really gross!! I had enchiladas and my husband had Chile relleno, we didn't even eat a quarter of our meal, he said his was really gross!!! I do not recommend this place at all!
Amazing service, great food, delicious and unique house margaritas, spicy salsa, this place is all you'd desire and more. However, if you don't like your food spicy, not sure this is the place to eat.We didn't think there was any unreasonable delay at all, but they comp'd my wife's dessert because it took too long to come. We've only lived around Denver for a year, but this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've had the pleasure of visiting and will definitely be back. Thank you for the great experience.
It's become a family favorite. We like the tacos best. And also the tomatillo sauce. Service is always friendly and there's plenty of parking.
